E.L.K getting down -

So I got an email from our man E.L.K a few weeks ago, man has been busy in the studio. Dude really needs a web page to display his work!!! Anyways here’s E.L.K in action, a 20 plus layer stencil he did a while back.

Z-Trip came to town and the Canberra kids got down -

It was a Monday and Z-Trip was doing a set at Transit Bar. Oh did I mention that it was free too?

So after grabbing some Japanese beer we rocked up to the gig mega early cos a free show with an act like him is def going to get packed. Being the only dudes there at 6pm we kicked back with beers in hand while the man himself was doing his sound check. 45 mins later he was still pumping out beats, and dropping some vicious cuts giving us a taste for what was in store.

Eventually the place got packed and turned into a sauna. But once Z-Trip hit the stage no one gave a shit and the whole place went nuts. Nothing better than a mass of people all getting down to some solid beats.

Weekend Song-

Yuri with her sister was down form Tokyo last weekend. So I went to Sydney on the Friday to catchup. Got a pleasant surprise when I found out she booked flights for me to go down to Melbourne at 6:00am the next day which we conveniently missed due to excessive consumption of Asahi, Gin and Tonics and a late round of some real sweet Sake. But all was good cos we were lucky enough to jump of the next flight down.

The whole weekend consisted of drinking way too much alcohol and chowing down hard at various Asian restaurants and hitting up some of our fav bars in Sydney and Melbourne.
